Since 2019 Line Krom has been collecting dust from art and cultural institutions, transforming it into pigments for her paintings. While the pigments change, the formal structure of her pieces remains constant. Through uniformity and repetition, subtle differences emerge. The hues and textures of the dust reveal the distinctive character of each place. The paintings invite viewers to reflect on the histories and locations encapsulated in every particle.
